Field Service Engineer

DJB Labcare Ltd is currently seeking a field service engineer, this post will involve the service and repair of laboratory equipment at our customers’ premises. You will be required to work well on your own and as part of our expanding team.

This role includes:

• The installation, repair and preventive maintenance of laboratory centrifuges and incubators

• On site work in the North West, Midlands, and occasionally other areas of the UK.

• Emergency breakdown callouts

• In-house workshop repairs

• Completion of service reports, weekly reports and schedules

The successful candidate will have:

• A good understanding of electronics and electro-mechanical processes

• Computer literacy

• The ability to use initiative, multitask and be self-reliant

• A full driving licence

• Previous engineering experience preferably with laboratory / medical equipment.
